피에르 쉬블레이라스 (Pierre Subleýras, 1699-1749)

Pierre Subleyras - Academic Study of a Seated Male Nude

 

생 지르 뒤 가르에서 출생하여 로마에서 사망한 프랑스 화가다.
처음 아버지로부터 그림을 배우기 시작하여 툴루즈 밑에서 수학했다.
1726년 파리로 나와 왕립 아카데미에서 수학하였고, 다음해에 로마대상을 받았다.
1728년 로마로 건너가서그곳에서 활동했다.
명암의 대조가 강한 바로크적인 화풍으로 종교화, 역사화, 초상화를 그렸다.
그의 아내인 마리아 펠리체(Maria Felice, 1707~1770)는

트리모리에르(Trémolières)의 처인 이자벨라 (Isabella)와 자매간으로 미니어처 화가로 활동했다.
